Welcome to SkunkCRM! This guide will help you install and configure the SkunkCRM WordPress plugin in minutes.
Plugin Installation
Automatic Installation (Recommended)
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
- Navigate to Plugins > Add New
- Search for "SkunkCRM"
- Click "Install Now" then "Activate"

Manual Installation
- Download the SkunkCRM plugin zip file
- Navigate to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin
- Select the zip file and click "Install Now"
- Click "Activate Plugin"

1. Demo Data Installation
Click "Install Demo Data" to populate your CRM with:
- 25+ realistic sample contacts
- Sample deals in various pipeline stages
- Contact activities and interactions
- Sample tags and segments for organization
- Automation workflows examples
2. Database Configuration
SkunkCRM automatically creates the following custom database tables:
- Contacts - Customer and lead information
- Deals - Sales opportunities and pipeline management
- Activities - Interactions, notes, calls, and meetings
- Tags - Contact organization and categorization
- Automations - Workflow automation rules
- Visitor Tracking - Website visitor analytics
Dashboard Overview
Once setup is complete, access your CRM dashboard at SkunkCRM > Dashboard:

Your First Contact
Adding contacts in SkunkCRM:
- Navigate to SkunkCRM > Contacts
- Click "Add New Contact"
- Fill in the contact information:
- Name (required)
- Email address
- Phone number
- Company
- Status (Lead, Warm Lead, Prospect, Customer, etc.)
- Tags for organization
- Notes and additional details

Common Issues
Plugin not appearing after activation:
